Kimberly Lawson is of Paiute and Tlingit descent. She is a graduate of the Institute of American Indian Arts of Santa Fe, New Mexico where she studied Creative Writing and the San Francisco Art Insitute of which she recieved a degree in Fine Art Photography. She is now residing in San Francisco.
